It must just be me... Sometimes I'm in the zone, sometimes I'm not - I guess I'm just not with it tonight.
Hang on, that replay looks a little different to what I saw, why does it show me shooting to the side of my enemy, not at him?
If these thoughts sound familiar then you are probably suffering from lag, the fastest way to lose the enjoyment of a gaming session.
I have been playing World at War for about 2 months now, and while I'm not a hard core gamer, I play, when I can, sometimes for a few hours at a time. I have a demanding job and busy schedule, so I just play when I can. So far I am up to about level 58 or so, and it has taken a lot of frustration to get there.
Some nights I can play with no problems at all, and it is a level playing field between myself and my adversaries, however when it gets bad, I end up with nothing more than a few kills and a pile of corpses sharing my likeness.
I am playing on a PS3, over a wireless network, as well as a wired connection at times (no discernible difference), and my internet plan is the fastest available to me, about 8Mbp/s.
Having read so many posts on various forums covering similar problems, I decided to try and get something done about it, something that hopefully Activision will notice...
I have changed my clan tag to [Lag!] in the hope that maybe Activision will take note, maybe "patch" it up, who knows.
Anyway, if you suffer lag, change your tag and leave a comment below. Maybe Activision or Treyarch will notice!
